The Most Irritating Paragraph
Researchers at Oxford University put together a list of the top ten most irritating phrases. I decided to put them all together and create the most irritating paragraph, fridge-magnet poetry style:
“(5) With all due respect (3) I personally think (7) it’s a nightmare. (1) At the end of the day Superman (6) absolutely (8) shouldn’t of obsessed (9) 24/7 over what people were saying about his wardrobe. (4) At this moment in time (2) it’s fairly unique for a man to wear tights and then his underwear over them, but who cares? He can defy gravity and see through people’s walls with his X-Ray vision. (10) It’s not rocket science.”
There. Did it have the intended effect? So irritating (or…confusing), I should probably watch where and in whose company I utter those words together.
I like to live on the edge. Try it. Because it’s a fun thing to do.
