Window Shopping

Believe or not, we actually didn’t buy a single thing on our three-week trip to Europe, except for a couple of jackets for the dire need for survival in Prague’s unseasonably cold weather. It’s no small feat, considering how much I love shopping. I just constantly reminded myself that we were living on borrowed money (thank you, Skadden Arps) and that we couldn’t possibly fit anything in our compact suitcases (still glad we packed lightly).

What’s a girl to do when she’s on a shopping ban? Window shop. Lucikly for us, there were plenty of interesting sights to satiate our hungry eyes.

There was the booze in Budapest, complete with Tokaji and Absinthe:

Dolls…dolls…scary dolls in Prague:

Mannequins sporting chocolate boxes as hats in Vienna:

Decapitated mannequins in Budapest and even more badly injured ones in Vienna:

See ya later, Alligator!
